Observations & Experiments
Observations spark new beginnings. Trails of thoughts start to undergo transformation into ideas. Roaming through the tephra hued volcanic landscapes of Hverfjall or making the drive out of Sofia to the greyscale Smolsko Quarry. Experiencing nature, the shaping of materials through pressure, temperature and movement over time.
Dialogue between Hand and Technology
A close dialogue between handmade processes and digital tools forms the essence. Exploring thoughts through drawing, carving, and physical experimentation brings insights to proportion, form and scale. Shapes rapidly evolve in a constant dance back and forth between physical and digital media.
Material research
Transcendent materials such as clay, lava, glass and metal are found in nature and can also be produced. Some substances possess properties that appear to surpass the ordinary range of perception, going beyond conventional physical limitations. Each material interaction leads to an insite which, in turn develops material intuition.
