The Moon Rock Lights explore the relationship between material experimentation and illumination. Developed through a shared process of casting aluminium foam in recycled aluminium and bronze, each piece reveals a unique porous surface shaped by the behaviour of the material itself.

While originating from the same material research, the collection takes different approaches to light and form. From elongated architectural sconces that define space through linear compositions to sculptural wall-mounted pieces that appear suspended against the wall, each work explores a distinct balance between materiality, texture, and light.

REPLICA II translates the irregular texture of aluminium foam into a linear architectural light. Cast in recycled aluminium or bronze, the piece combines a highly porous surface with a precise central light source, creating a contrast between raw material expression and refined illumination.

The elongated form emphasises verticality and can be produced in a range of lengths to suit different spaces and applications. As light passes through and across the textured surface, subtle variations in depth and transparency are revealed, creating a warm atmospheric glow.

Balancing sculpture and architecture, REPLICA II functions both as a lighting element and as a study of material transformation.

Rather than directing light outward, the form acts as a filter, revealing depth, texture, and varying levels of transparency across its surface. Mounted slightly away from the wall, the piece appears to float, casting a subtle halo that emphasises its material character.

CARME SCONCE is a sculptural wall light defined by its irregular organic silhouette and highly porous surface. Cast from aluminium foam, the piece captures a network of cavities that allow light to pass through the material itself, creating a soft and atmospheric glow.
